3. How the App Works
- GPT to PDF works by loading the ChatGPT web interface inside a secure WebView within the App. JavaScript is injected to extract the visible conversation content from the page.
- All file generation - including PDF and Word (DOCX) documents - happens entirely on your device using on-device libraries.
- No conversation content, generated files, or any user data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party server.
4. App Permissions
- The App may request the following permissions on your device:
- Storage access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE or equivalent): Used solely to save the generated PDF and Word files to your device. We do not read any other files on your device.
- Internet access: Required to load the ChatGPT web interface inside the App's WebView. No user data is sent to our servers.
- These permissions are used only for their stated purposes and nothing else.
5. Data Sharing
- We do not sell or rent your data to any third parties.
- Anonymous usage analytics data is shared with Google LLC through Google Analytics solely for the purpose of understanding how the App is used. This data is aggregated and not linked to any individual user.
- We do not share data with any advertising networks or data brokers.
6. Third-Party Services
- The App displays the ChatGPT website (chat.openai.com) via a WebView. Your interaction with that website is subject to OpenAI's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We are not affiliated with OpenAI.
- We are not responsible for the privacy practices of OpenAI or any other third-party services you access through the App.
