Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Status Saver. By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

  • These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("User") and 1LightYear Labs ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the Status Saver mobile application ("App").
  • By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. Description of the App

  • Status Saver helps you view and save WhatsApp status media (images/videos) on your Android device after you grant permission.
  • The App processes files locally on your device and allows you to save, share, and delete media.
  • Status Saver is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with WhatsApp or Meta.

3. Acceptable Use

  • You may use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • You are responsible for the media you save, share, or distribute using the App.
  • You must not use the App to violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights (including copyright, privacy, or publicity rights).
  • You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or tamper with any part of the App.
  • You must comply with WhatsApp/Meta’s applicable terms and policies when using WhatsApp and its features.

4. Permissions and Your Device

  • The App may request media/storage access so it can read status media and save copies to your device. You can deny or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings, but some features may stop working.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your saved files.

5. Advertising and Third-Party Services

  • The App may display ads using Google AdMob (Google LLC). Google may collect and process data to provide, measure, and personalize ads in accordance with Google’s policies.
  • You may opt out of personalized ads via your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads) and/or Google’s Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com
  • We are not responsible for third-party services (including WhatsApp/Meta and Google) and their availability or data practices.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The App, including its code, design, branding, and content, is owned by 1LightYear Labs and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will work on all devices or OS versions.
  • Changes to WhatsApp’s storage, permissions, or internal behavior may affect the App’s functionality, and we are not responsible for such changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1LightYear Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
  • This includes (without limitation) loss of data, loss of saved media, or any damages resulting from your sharing or storage of media.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).

9. Changes to the App and Terms

  • We may modify, update, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
  • Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in India.
